1. Agreement
By signing up for BackOnTools you agree to these Terms of Service. BackOnTools (“we”, “us”) provides AI receptionist services for Australian trade businesses. These terms govern your use of our service.
2. Service Description
BackOnTools provides an AI-powered phone receptionist that answers calls, qualifies leads, books jobs, and sends invoices on behalf of your trade business. The service is set up within 7 days of signing up and includes ongoing tuning and support.
3. Pricing and Billing
- Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance on the first of each month.
- One-time setup fees are charged at sign-up and are non-refundable after setup begins.
- Annual billing is available at a 15% discount (2 months free).
- Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) inclusive of GST.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time with 14 days' written notice.
- If the service is not live within 30 days of sign-up, we will refund your setup fee in full.
- Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
- Your existing phone number remains yours upon cancellation.
5. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring your customers are aware they may speak with an AI.
- You must provide accurate business information during onboarding.
- You must not use the service for any unlawful purpose.
- You are responsible for reviewing and approving quotes and invoices before they become legally binding.
6. Limitations of Liability
BackOnTools is a tool to assist your business, not a replacement for your professional judgment. We are not liable for:
- Missed calls due to technical outages beyond our control
- Incorrect bookings or quotes made by the AI
- Business losses resulting from AI errors
Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees paid in that period.
7. Intellectual Property
The BackOnTools platform, software, and AI models remain our property. Call recordings, transcripts, and data relating to your business are yours. If you use our voice cloning feature, the cloned voice is for use within BackOnTools only.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
